Krustbuster Sandwich Maker Deluxe Set

To make the best sealed sandwich use fresh bread. Dry bread will not seal as well as moist bread. If the sandwich only seals on three sides, put the sandwich back through the Krustbuster with the edge that is not sealed sticking more or less off one side of the buster. Re-seal by pressing down. Start with one slice of bread centered on the opened sandwich maker. Close it using light pressure to mark where to place the filling for your sandwich. Open Buster and implement filling to the marked piece of bread. Add a second slice, close the sandwich maker and press tightly until the Crust may be gently pulled away.A microwave and freezer open up new choices for the Krustbuster. Make a hot egg sandwich by applying butter, margarine or Pam to the inside of the Kupbuster. Crack an egg into the Kup then add bacon bits, grated cheese or whatsoever you like. Mix with a fork and place in microwave with paper towel over the top and cook 30 seconds or until cooked. Place one piece of bread on the bottom paddle of the Krustbuster and add any condiments. Turn your Kupbuster contents over the center of the bread. Place another piece of similar sized bread on top then press the Krustbuster together until the krust may be without apparent effort got rid of from the sides. When using heat to prepare a hot Krustbuster adult supervision is always recommended. Once a sandwich is completely sealed you may toast it in a bagel size toaster. You may likewise make all the weeks sandwiches at one time and freeze them for later in a plastic bag or sealed container. Not only does it save time in the morning, but the sandwiches will be fresh and ready to eat by lunchtime. Because the krust is got rid of before the sandwich is eaten the leftover crusts may be applied in casseroles, for stuffing and also used for croutons. Made of the most eminent feed grade plastic the Krustbuster and Kupbuster are dishwasher safe. Recommended for children over 6 years old. We commend removing the sticker before placing it in a dishwasher or microwave.

5Easy, Quick, and it WORKS!
By Q
I’m really not sure how this could be any easier to use. You literally just set the sandwich centered on the bottom half and fold. It doesn’t take much pressure, and the excess bread crust literally just falls off. Sometimes when I open it after removing the crust, it will sort of ‘stick’ in the top, but it takes nearly no pressure at all and it falls right out with the edges perfectly sealed!

I’ve tried everything up to this point that I could find.
- Cookie cutters make cute shapes, but they’re often too small and leave oozy edges
- Specially made sandwich cutters (in the shape of hearts, dolphins, dinosaurs, etc), again they’re cute and they solve the size problem, but still ooze
- A gadget from a specialty kitchen-wares company that sells through homeshows, right idea but it never quite worked, round shape wasted too much and it never really sealed well

Enter the Krustbuster!
It’s so simple to use that my children can do it. Lightweight enough for them to handle, yet still feels sturdy and has held up like new to our month or so of use thus far (including dishwashing everytime). Right size and shape for ‘typical’ sandwich breads, minimal waste. It also works better with softer breads than I would’ve thought (some of our previous cutter attempts with other products simply split soft bread, not the case with the Krustbuster). But, the best part is: it works as advertised and SEALS the edges!

The ‘stampers’ even mean that we can prepare crustless, sealed, sandwiches en-masse ahead of time and freeze them – without any question as to which ‘variety’ (grape, strawberry, cheese, etc) is inside!

It gets most of it’s use from peanutbutter and honey, but we’ll try egg sandwiches for breakfast (maybe even toasted), hotdogs, maybe even stuffed french toast!

5Way cool!
By Cecilia Brown
This is so cool! I didn’t tell my kids that I got it, and I surprised them in their school lunch with a cute little sandwich. They came home all excited about the funny sandwich in their lunch. It’s super easy, and the sandwich is really cute. I did read reviews that said it was messy, with the sandwich contents oozing outside the mechanism, but, the directions tell you to first put the plain bread in it and close it a little to mark where you need to keep the contents. If you do that, it makes the sandwiches perfectly. I was a little disappointed in the small size of the sandwich, but, really, it just cuts off the crust. I guess I never realized how small the bread is if you cut off crust. I haven’t tried to make sandwiches in advance and freeze them, or make sandwiches and put them in the toaster, but, I will try it. Until then, I just get a little giggle out of making a different picture on the sandwich each day. It would be fun to have even more choices for those.
